Marion Haarsma

I am Marion Haarsma. I used to be a chill person. Since 1983 I had a dry suit, on loan. Everyone laughed at me and called me a 'wimp'. But even then I was convinced that the cold is bad for you and that hypothermia is a great danger. Something that is hardly ever recognised! In 2011, I was allowed to borrow a Thermalution vest and I did not want to give it back! Because even though a dry suit protects you well against the cold water, there is nothing to keep you warm. That is why the Thermalution vest is 'indispensable' for me.

It is not meant for me to be able to dive longer, but for my own safety and well-being! I also use it under my wetsuit when the water is still a bit 'chilly'. Because the Thermalution vest is waterproof! And I also put it on during walks in the cold winter days!

In short, it is ideal!
